The Pro Player Classic (PPC) was created in 1999 to be a conduit for educational scholarships and needed assistance to underprivileged Indigenous Youth. The success of the program to date is the result of a dedicated Founder & Co-Founder, a score of committed volunteers, the support of very loyal sponsors and the immeasurable assistance of the greater Phoenix community.
In 2004 the PPC contributed $10,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale to provide funding for the Kidstar (KDSTAR) Radio Station. The station is being built in the Lehi Branch of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale on the Pima Reservation and will provide broadcast training to youth from 4th through 12th grades.
The Tournament Director for the 12th Annual Pro Players Classic
